This week’s phoneography challenge is one of Abstraction, Architecture, Food Photography, Night Photography, Portraiture, Still Life, Street Photography, and Travel.

I took the picture next to one of main road in Jakarta while waiting for a taxi. One man was sleeping on a hammock that created from an unused banner for advertisement when I stood near him. Even so many people were passing by, he slept tight as if sleeping in a very expensive hotel :).

What an intriguing example of street photography. It’s a moment that displays various possible stories, which is one of the important elements of a good photograph. Well done. Happy Photography Challenge.

Fascinating shot. I wouldn’t feel comfortable sleeping like that right along a road, but necessity changes things, doesn’t it. Well-caught.

Thank you, Janet. He probably knows very well about the area, and perhaps working close to the place. So he feels like sleeping at home.
