Have you ever imagined to live like an ant? Imagine that you are an ant and living on a big tree. What would you see from your point of view?
There pictures are my contribution for the 2nd Monday of May for Phoneography and Non-SLR Digital Devices Photo Challenge – Macro (I know it was late because of my hectic days at office and playing Hearthstone at home :).
This week’s challenge is Nature, the first Monday of the month. I took those pics using iPhone during my camping vacation with my colleague, Dony Alpha.
We rode a folding bike from our home to train station, traveling around 100 km using train, and riding the bike around 20 km plus one public transportation to the beach and camping there. Total riding the bike was around 35 km. Not bad to burn some fat 🙂
Last week’s challenge was Spring. By dictionary, spring is
the season after winter and before summer, in which vegetation begins to appear, in the northern hemisphere from March to May and in the southern hemisphere from September to November. Since I live in Indonesia where we know only dry and wet season, then I imagine that spring is when everything is blooming, whenever it is :). So here is my contribution for the theme. I took it using my 550D during my camping vacation with my family, a morning after a short hard rain.
This week’s challenge is Kuwut Ice, a special beverages that I found during my trip last week end to Cilegon, West Java. After riding a bike several km, having this cool beverage was an amazing experience. The fruits was fresh and the syrup was blended perfectly. Best served @ tropical area during lunch time. Kuwut is a Balinese word, means coconut. Interestingly, this beverage not only contain coconut, but also other fruits like strawberry, melon, and basils. The syrup was mixed of coconut water and one kind of orange (Citrus aurantifolia).
This week’s challenge is On Top. I took the picture several days ago when me went camping with my kids at Ranca Upas, Ciwidey. On of the facility is a tree house. Taken using Canon 550D, 15-85 mm, add the saturation a bit using Fotor for Win 8. The complete pics for the vacation can be found here.
