WPC: Repurpose

This week’s challenge is Repurpose.

Show us something that you’ve recycled or repurposed, or an object for which you’ve discovered a clever new use.

This challenge is quite tricky. Not that trivial to find a sample of a repurpose thing, unless you go to a museum or antiques shop.

One day after lunch I went to a supermarket next to my office and find this. I like the idea that I couldn’t resist to take the picture. It was a clock that will most suitable to be placed in a kitchen.

I think it is a smart of repurposing silverware into something else beautiful and smart useful objects, at least in an aesthetical way. Don’t you think?

WPC: Graceful

This week’s challenge is Graceful.

I took the pic from a mangrove reservation site in north Jakarta few weeks back.

I took a pray inside a mosque that is built on top of this water. So tranquil, peaceful, and graceful.

وَنَزَّلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً مُّبَارَكًا فَأَنبَتْنَا بِهِ جَنَّاتٍ وَحَبَّ الْحَصِيدِ

And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped..

WPC: Look Up

This week’s challenge is Look Up.

Me inside Goa Lawa (Bat Cave) close to my hometown.

And this is the view when I looked up. You can see that several bats were hanging on the ceiling taking a nap.

WPC: Opposites

This week’s challenge is Opposites

Two zebras were in opposite direction, most probably are falling in love each other.

I captured them several years ago at Taman Safari Bogor Indonesia.

Weekly Photo Challenge – Pure

WhatsApp-Image-20160529 (2)

This week’s challenge is Pure. This is the view from almost the top of Mount Lembu, Purwakarta, West Java, Indonesia.

From around 800 meters above sea level, you can see something pure. Something that we need to conserve, to keep it pure as long as possible.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Admiration

This week’s challenge is Admiration.

I always admire, salute, and have full respect to all the people who work hard to make a living for their family. You can see passion, perseverance, and hope. There is a beauty in it.

By him in whose hand is my soul, if one of you were to carry a bundle of firewood on his back and sell it, that would be better for him than begging a man who may or may not give him anything.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Abstract

This week’s challenge is Abstract. Two week’s ago I captured these pics in front of my office, and put an effect using Toon Camera in my iPhone. And hey, hope it’s not too late to say Happy Earth Day 🙂

This post is also my contribution for the forth week’s Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge: Abstraction.
